David Bain, RA
When I joined the Army in 2013 as a Military Police officer, I had every intention of continuing into the civilian law enforcement sector. Somewhere along the way, I found great opportunities investing in real estate and wanted to share this knowledge with my fellow veterans. With the immediate passion that I had, I knew that this was where I had to be professionally. I requested an assignment to Hawaii specifically to start investing in my own properties within the Oahu market. I was so excited to start investing in Hawaii real estate that I put in offers from the east coast of the United States while I was on leave. Upon arrival to the island as an E-4, I put in my final offer and closed on my first Hawaii property. I was so excited and immediately ready to start the journey to my next property. As veterans, you spend a lot of time with each other. An array of topics may come up while in the field, on deployment, or even just in the footprint of your unit. I started to realize that when I would speak to other veterans in these settings, often they were not aware of their VA home loan benefits. I find it to be an extremely rewarding experience to educate fellow veterans on this benefit and to help them with their personal real estate endeavors. All too often our veterans focus so heavily on the present that they overlook the future. This is understandable as the nation requires much of your time and dedication. I want to assist you in building that future as I did for myself and my family. I take pride in helping veterans to build their legacy. Thank you for being a part of the 1%.
